The Arisarina Cooperative was established in 2013, and is located in the highlands of Gayo in Sumatra Indonesia. Over time, the cooperative has reached almost 2,500 coffee farmer members. The farmers all practice methods conversation, and grow their coffee in shade, which is unique for coffee farms in this part of the world. To ensure quality, the cooperative focuses on training programs in organic practices as well as specific harvest management training.
