This coffee is named for Rante Karua (Mount Karua) in the Bittuang district of Tana Toraja Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. The brightness and clean cup are a combination the growing conditions: the cherry is sourced from organic farms located in higher elevations of the Toraja growing region. In addition, wet-processing and raised bed drying are also performed in relatively cool and dry conditions, as the mill is located in the valley of Bolokan.
