The elegant cup is the result of ripe cherry selection from heirloom Ethiopia tree varieties growing at over 6,000 feet above sea level, careful wet processing after de-pulping, then sun-drying on raised beds.

Kayon Mountain farm--located at 1800msl in the Orogmia region, in the Guji zone of the Shakisso district, is owned by Ismel Hassen and his family. They support the construction of local schools and run a tree nursery on-site to maintain the shade canopy on their farm and for sales and technical support for surrounding community.
